All is quiet. Another beautiful day, but unfortunately the fishing has finally slowed down a bit. Roger and nick both left this morning, leaving our crew at 8 men now. Griff and Jamie slept in, and Gary/Shaun/Danny and nick/steve/Andy went out early, and we traded nick for JR mid-morning so nick could leave. We fished the humps just south of the north channel with only a few small walleye to brag about, and the Gary Romanowich family boat raked up perch in bass bay, but also had little else worth gloating over.
Winds have picked up and conditions are getting tougher. Shaun and I are getting ready to make a minnow run in preparation for tonight; Andy is planning on leaving this afternoon, and I'm planning on leaving after fishing tonight. Currently, we're all stuffed from JR's famous omelets for lunch.
