Thursday night

Evening fishing didn't produce as much as this afternoon, but every boat still brought in a few. Griffin and Jamie boated a few crappie and walleye; Roger boated a 23" musky; steve pulled in another "biggest walleye of the trip so far," upping the ante from 16" this afternoon to 18.5".

We had a delicious dinner of turkey, potatoes, stuffing and green beans...a great way to end the evening. The last boat (JR, Gary, and Shaun) didn't make it in until dark, close to 9!

The weather today was spotty, giving us rain during most of the afternoon (which we think may have made for the great fishing in the afternoon) and sporadic light showers through the early evening. Thank goodness I've finally got decent rain clothes! Most of us stayed dry.

By 10, most of us are feeling pretty tired and will head to bed soon to hit the lake again early tomorrow morning.
